This past Spring, the Girl Guides of the Greenfield Park District organized their annual march to help raise funds for BCAM. This event, held on May 7th, marks the tenth year that the Guides have sponsored this fundraiser. The weather cooperated as we walked the South Shore neighborhood, our banners carried by eager young Guides.

Before setting out, BCAM members Carmen Alleyne, Avis Antel, Deena Dlusy-Apel, Chris Kupka, Carol Secter, and Andrea Strom-Rancourt were introduced by Hannelore René de Cotret and each presented with a carnation.

Thanks to the Girl Guides of Greenfield Park for a donation of $883.11 and to the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 94, Greenfield Park, who contributed $250.00. Once again, BCAM is glad to express its appreciation for their support of our cause.
