BCAM board members had a pleasant surprise at one of their regular monthly meetings. In January, two members of the Two Abreast Dragon Boat Team, Anna Capobianco-Skipworth and Linda Hamilton, surprised us with an unexpected donation, a cheque for $2,100 !! Last summer, the money was awarded to the team at the Dragon Boat Festival in Windsor, Ontario, with the stipulation that it must be donated to a non-profit organization in their community. BCAM was delighted to be chosen as the recipient and is glad to express our gratitude for this support.
