About FemmeToxic

FemmeToxic is a new BCAM project designed

  1. to increase awareness of toxins that may be found in personal care products, cosmetics, and commonly used consumer products, and how these may be linked to breast cancer, and
  2. to encourage young people to advocate for improved labelling of products as well as the removal of toxic chemicals from consumer products

A new addition to BCAM’s safe cosmetics campaign, FemmeToxic calls for senior members of BCAM to collaborate with younger women (ages 12 to 25) to create educational materials for breast cancer prevention and to teach them about community organizing. The younger women will share this knowledge with their peers.
