Environmental Estrogens and Breast Cancer
BCAM believes that a woman needs to be aware of environmental estrogens in the cosmetics and products she buys. However it should not be up to each woman to try to protect herself and her children: our government has a responsibility to ensure that these chemicals are properly labelled as environmental estrogens; and that they are phased out of all cosmetics sold in Canada. Please download, circulate and mail our petition to the Minister of Health, Leona Aglukkaq. It is important that we tell Health Canada to strengthen our regulations around chemicals sold in body care products. For more information see the Questions and Answers section of our website.
